Why B&S Academy Exists. What Do We Stand For? ❤️ About 3–4 years ago, I stepped into Johns Hopkins University. I remember feeling incredibly lonely. People seemed to find their circles so naturally, whether through their backgrounds, sports, or friendships they had already formed. But I was an immigrant from Uzbekistan who had never been particularly good at socializing. Making friends was difficult, and I spent a lot of my time alone in my dorm room. It was during those lonely days that I started asking myself a question. Why were there Kazakh students and students from so many other countries at the world's best universities, but so few Uzbeks? I knew how intelligent and hardworking our students were. I had grown up around them. I couldn't believe that we lacked the talent. Maybe what we lacked was someone to show us that these universities were within our reach. That question eventually changed the direction of my life. I entered what I like to call the IELTS race in Uzbekistan. I got an IELTS 9.0 and an SAT 1600. Not because those scores would somehow make me a better person, but because I wanted people to listen. I wanted students to look at those results and start believing that they, too, could aim higher than they had ever imagined. And when students started reaching out to me, I helped them completely for free. I wasn't thinking about building a business or about how much money I could make from admissions consulting. I just genuinely loved doing it. Some of the students I am proudest of helping, including Borte & Dilafruz, who got into Harvard, Sulaiman and Khusan, who got into Duke, Aydos to Brown and Alena, who is now at Yale. And there was a very personal reason for that. When I was in high school, I desperately wanted the kind of guidance I was now giving others. I wanted someone who understood the process, someone who could tell me what I was doing wrong, someone who believed in me. But my financial circumstances meant that much of that support was simply out of reach. So when I finally found myself in a position to help, I didn't want another student to feel that way. That was the spirit in which B&S Academy began. And I want people to understand something: I started doing this for the love of the game. And that love has never gone away.

Spent the whole break looking for snacks. Red John: ??? Never registered for the test. Somehow knew everyone’s score before College Board did. Which one are you on test day❓
